In 1988, VTech opened the Group's first manufacturing facilities at Houjie town, Dongguan city, Guangdong province in southern China. With manufacturing area of 240,000 square metre, this site is mainly used for manufacturing our electronic learning products.

In 1997, VTech opened its second manufacturing facilities at Liaobu town, Dongguan city, Guangdong province in southern China. The site covers a total manufacturing area of 168,000 square metre to facilitate the production of telecommunication products and contract manufacturing services.

In 2005, VTech opened its third manufacturing facilities in Qingyuan city, Guangdong province in southern China. This 49,000 square metre facility allow us gradually to bring the plastics production for the telecommunication product in house.
